The technical features of the double-sealed anti-overflow skirt are as follows
The skirt is made of polyurethane and natural rubber, and the part in contact with the belt (which plays the main sealing role) is polyurethane. Polyurethane is cast from high-quality imported powder. Compared with polyurethane made by extrusion process, it has better wear resistance, longer service life and does not damage the belt.
Sealing effect: The anti-overflow skirt adopts a straight plate + skirt double-layer sealing integrated structure. The straight plate is close to the side of the guide trough, and the bottom is in contact with the belt to prevent material from overflowing. The skirt can be turned outwards within a certain angle. Rotation, relying on the elasticity of the rubber plate, automatically tracks the belt, always maintains close contact with the belt, and has excellent sealing performance.
The skirt sealing part of the skirt board adopts a single-sided arc transition. When the belt goes off track, it will not damage the belt and skirt and can automatically return to its original state.
The skirt panels on each side of the guide trough are made into a whole as required and are the same length as the guide trough to prevent air leakage at the joints.
Problems with the sealing of ordinary guide troughs
At present, the sealing strips on both sides of the guide trough are mostly cut from ordinary rubber belts and fixed with the guide trough through angle steel wedge locking devices. The main problems with this sealing method are: poor wear resistance of the sealing strip. After being used for a short period of time, the sealing strip is severely worn, and the sealing strip cannot be in close contact with the belt. The sealing effect is poor, air leakage and powder leakage are serious, the dust on site is large, and the environment is harsh.
The sealing strip has no up and down deformation. The sealing strip installed when the belt is stationary, once fixed, will cause a gap between the sealing strip and the belt when the belt carries material and sinks, causing a serious phenomenon of coal and powder spillage.
The sealing strip is a single seal, which is not as effective as a double seal.
It is a lot of work to replace the sealing strip.
